GOTA Coffee Experts is one of Austria’s 100 Best Coffee Shops

We’re delighted to share some exciting news: GOTA Coffee Experts has been selected as one of the 100 Best Coffee Shops in Austria.

For us, this recognition is about much more than great coffee. It celebrates the many things that come together to create a special coffee shop experience, from quality and expertise to atmosphere, innovation and community. And we’re incredibly happy to see GOTA among them.

What does it take to be one of Austria’s best coffee shops?

The Best Coffee Shops is a selection of places dedicated to outstanding coffee experiences. In Austria, 100 coffee shops have been selected, bringing together specialty coffee shops and other places with a strong focus on high quality coffee. 

The evaluation looks beyond what’s in the cup and considers the overall experience. The criteria include coffee quality, barista expertise, consistency, customer service, ambience and atmosphere, quality of food and pastries, innovation, community and sustainable practices. A panel of coffee experts contributes their knowledge, experience and different perspectives on Austria’s coffee scene.

GOTA has always been about more than coffee alone. It’s about the people around it. The conversations across the bar, our barista workshops and SCA courses, events, our Running Club and everyone who walks through our doors to drink, discover and learn more about coffee.

That’s why seeing community as one of the criteria behind the selection feels particularly special to us. It’s something that has grown alongside GOTA and continues to shape who we are today.
