We Harvest, Roast, Brew & Serve

It all started from a trip to Peru where we discovered the art of coffee. Once we got back to Vienna it just did not taste the same and we set out on our mission to bring that delicious specialty coffee to Vienna. We want to give you a unique experience and guide you into the world of coffee through our knowledge and expertise.  

We deeply care about our farmers, the regeneration of their plantations and knowing exactly where our beans come from. Therefore, our coffee beans’ offer changes depending on quality, season and crops yield.

From Then...

We started in 2017 with just 8 seats but a clear goal in mind:

We wanted to share and spread our coffee passion, raising awareness about how varied coffee is and the importance that a quality, light to medium roast has on bringing out all the flavour depths and profiles.

...To Now

Fast forward to September 2021 when we reopened our brand new café with over 45 seats. In addition to our GOTA Coffee Experts we also have GOTA Coffee Plus, where you can further immerse yourself into our specialty coffee world with a selection of workshops ranging from latte art, home barista, filter fun and much more.

Here, our concept of Coffee and Flowers will bring you on a journey of senses, between the smells, colours and music you will get a unique and immersive experience.

Our Team

Everybody in our team is dedicating their life to their passion. Which is why we strive to raise the bar every day to make your experience unique. Our Baristas will serve you the best specialty coffee and give you an excellent experience, our Chefs are pushing the limits to amaze your tastebuds especially with our Brunches, and our Pâtissiers are creating indulging pastries you cannot pass up on. We want to push the boundaries and reach new levels, building a community and competing in national and international contests.

We have a very strong sense of community, and no matter what, GOTA is always ready to hug your tastebuds with flavourful coffee. Located in the heart of the 15th district we are the place to visit, to try, to stay and enjoy the highest quality coffee. Let us look after you.

Sustainability

We deeply care about the environment and the impact our actions have on it. Which is why we know exactly where our coffee beans come from, and we strive for a fair and ethical sourcing process. Together with our partners we focus on the regeneration of plantations, working with nature, without over-farming and adapting to the seasons dictated by the climate of every producer we partner with.
