International & Tyrolean Coffee Championships 2023

The 13th International & Tyrolean Coffee Championships took place at the FAFGA alpine superior gastronomy trade fair in Innsbruck, Tyrol. The four coffee competitions - Barista, Latte Art, Filter Coffee Challenge and Cafetier of the Year 2023 - attracted national and international baristas from all over Europe. They also took the opportunity to practice for the upcoming World Coffee Championship in Taipei.

The Swiss, German and Austrian Latte Art Champions 2022 were all there to compete, but also to practice for the World Stage, as the setting was exactly the same as it will be in Taipei, making it even more exciting for everyone watching the competitions.

Markus Brun and Michael Mayer from GOTA Coffee proved their skills in the Filter Coffee and Cafetier of the Year 2023 competitions. Both did very well and showed their knowledge about specialty coffee.
